Pamela Loewen is a contemporary quilt artist based in Williamston, Michigan. Working primarily with fabrics she dyes herself, she creates richly colored compositions inspired by gardens and the repeating patterns of nature. Her free-form flower and leaf shapes build into layered, rhythmic works that explore color, scale, and repetition.
Her quilts have received awards at Quilt National, and Butterfly Garden is in the International Quilt Museum's Quilt National Collection. In 2026, she presented Garden Series, a solo exhibition at Textile Art Gallery NYC. She is also the founder of Loewen Studio & Gallery, a Williamston gallery dedicated to quilt making as a contemporary art form.
